Sierra Leone Aid Project 2.0
Heavy rain and mudslides have fallen over Freetown, Sierra leone leaving thousands of people homeless and hundreds dead or missing. The city is covered with mud, debris and half destroyed buildings, the people have been left traumatised and with little tools to rebuild what once were their homes.
Kids Compassion is an organization created by Mustafa Cole (SL) and Toni Lane Casserly (US) with the goal of creating direct response efforts to help children after realizing how many of them lost their entire families to the ebola crisis.
With this campaign we would like to help people by providing basic cooking supplies to 10 families living in Freetown. Each family will receive: rice, onions, tomatoes, salt, condiments, cooking oil, tea, sugar and mosquito spray.
We are still learning the process of providing aid to people and may take a bit longer than anticipated to provide the items to each family.
